Impact Driven

The mission

The mission is simple. If I can reach one other male survivor and help them embark on a path of recovery, then I’m accomplishing the mission. If I can be the tipping point for an alcoholic who dreams of becoming sober, then I am accomplishing the mission. This is not a mission geared towards big paydays and some odd internet fame; this is a kinetic, dynamic, and constantly evolving pursuit of lasting change within our society. It is a pursuit to educate, empower, and force multiply the public. It is about meaningful societal change and raw impact.

I have found purpose in this pursuit. According to the data I present, the occurrence rate associated with male specific child sexual abuse (CSA) is suggested to be 1 in 6 to 1 in 4 by the age of eighteen (Weiss, 2019). When you couple this with the fact that the reticence (period from abuse to disclosure) of male CSA survivors is, on average, twenty years——then you begin to realize the scope of the issue. We aren’t dealing in hundreds, or thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of boys who will face some form of CSA. We are dealing in millions.

I work with individuals and organizations that are issue facing. I present fact-based information on the subject to crowds, on shows, and through various writing platforms. I share my recovery story as a motivational speaker to hopefully inspire the untold millions of men who have suffered as I have, because I believe wholesale in ANYONE’s human potential regardless of what deck of cards they were dealt.
