What is the Child Advocacy Center?

The Child Advocacy Center of Tuscola is a place of hope for sexually and physically abused children from Tuscola County. It provides a safe, child-friendly place for children to make difficult, but truthful disclosure one time, at one place, to one person; who is specially trained, who can, and will help!

In Tuscola County, one in three girls and one in four boys will be sexually abused in some way before the age of 18. These are children that live in your community, that you may know. The CAC has already Forensically Interviewed a staggering number of children reporting sexual abuse. These Forensic Interviews have lead to numerous arrests and prosecutions.

Unfortunately, there are hundreds of more children in our community who still need the help of Child Advocacy Center. In order to provide these critically-needed services for the children of Tuscola County we must have your financial support.

DISCLAIMER: NONE of the above orgs/nonprofits/businesses have paid me for a slot on the website. At most, these folks are listing my book Suffering in Silence: Male Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA) Survivorship on their website or are local missions/projects I am personally involved with on an unpaid basis. I am 100% committed to transparency. If they are listed here, I’m either involved or I believe in their mission. I will disclose if I am being paid by any given agency for advertising and/or mission specific work.
